The body heals with play, the mind heals with laughter, the Spirit heals with joy.
Proverb

When we share joy and happiness, we give two of the most powerful healing medicines in the world.

Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.

Gandhi’s Top 10 Fundamentals for Changing The World.

1. Change
“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

2. Control.
“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

3. Forgiveness

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

4. Action.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

5. The present moment.

“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”

6. Everyone is human.

“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”
“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

7. Persist.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

8. Goodness.

“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”
“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”

9. Truth
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

10. Development.
“Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”

Summarized by Dan Fabrizio
Our manners and behaviors often speak louder than words.
A pebble cast into a pond causes ripples that spread in all directions. And each one of our thoughts, words, and deeds is like that.

There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self. So you have to begin there, not outside, not on other people. That comes afterward, when you've worked on your own corner.

The secrets of the sun are yours,
but you content yourself with motes trapped in its beams.
Turn to what truly lives, reject what seems --
Which matters more, the body or the soul?
Be whole: desire and journey to the Whole.

Buddha was once threatened with death by a bandit called Angulimal.

"Then be good enough to fulfill my dying wish," said Buddha. "Cut off the branch of that tree."

One slash of the sword, and it was done! "What now?" asked the bandit.

Put it back again," said Buddha.

The bandit laughed. "You must be crazy to think anyone can do that."

"On the contrary, it is you who are crazy to think that you are mighty because you can wound and destroy. That is the task of children. The mighty know how to create and heal."

Right:
A feeling connected to control, usually at great expense to relationship. Sometimes confused with correct.
Terry Harris
There can be tremendous loneliness in the crossover to a soul-centered life. Walking through uncharted territory often means walking alone. This is particularly true in the transition stages before we find our consciousness soulpod. Its like primary school all over again- who will be my first REAL friends? The key is patience. When the moment is right, they come.

We call to them, they call to us, and our angels broker the deal.

Soulpod: That person or group of people whom our soul finds the most resonance with at any given moment. It can include anyone that appears on our path to inform and catalyze our expansion – our biological family, significant figures, strangers with a lesson.

Behold this day. It is yours to make.

In one drop of water
are found all the secrets

in one aspect of You
are found all the aspects

"Peace comes within the souls of men when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the Universe dwells Wakan-Tanka, and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us."

The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not twist them to fit our own image.  Otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves that we find within them.
Thomas Merton

Each soul must meet the morning sun, the new sweet earth and the Great Silence alone.
Ohiyesa (Dr. Charles A. Eastman), SANTEE SIOUX

"Driven by the force of love, the fragments of the world seek each other that the world may come into being...
Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves...

The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, and gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we shall have discovered fire."

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

A lifetime is not what's between the moments of birth and death.

A lifetime is one moment between two little breaths.

The present, the here, the now...

That's all the life we get.

We live each moment in full,

In kindness, in peace, without regret.

As human beings we have the capacity to unite at four levels – physical, mental, intellectual and the spiritual.
When we sometimes pick up the thoughts of others and vice versa we experience a unity of thought or a ‘meeting of minds’. This can be love at a mental level.
Sometimes we encounter another who ‘feels’ exactly the same as we do, at least they seem to, and so we have a ‘meeting of hearts.’
And finally there is the highest form of love or union between two Souls. This meeting is not possible unless both Souls know and experience themselves as spiritual beings, as Souls.
Unfortunately, at this time, very few do. Most of us experience ourselves as bodies and consider physical attraction and physical attachment as a form of love.
The deepest love is spiritual and it happens when two Souls are able to walk in and through each others lives with total freedom.
Whichever lessons you are learning, come at the right time. It is no use pushing, hoping, grousing, or feeling than you are not worthy. Whatever has to shift will shift when you are in the right place.

Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.

"The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It's not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It's encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way."

It works whether you are thinking of what you are wanting or you are thinking of what you are not wanting - whether you are thinking of what you are wanting or whether you are thinking of the lack of what you are wanting. The direction of your thought is your choice.
