There is part of you that is perfect and pure. It is untouched by the less than perfect characteristics you've acquired by living in this world. It is filled with divine qualities, so is a constant state of resourcefulness and well-being. Its total absence of conflict and negativity of any sort makes this part of you a Still-Point; a deep, enriching experience of Silence. Make time to practise reaching this inner place of Silence. It will bring you untold benefit.
At the end of the day, on the wings of your thoughts, go beyond the cares and troubles of the world. Remove your mind from everything and everyone, and become blissfully detached, like a star.
Like a star, be free to radiate light, for your essence is light and peace. Enjoy the simplicity of the night sky, the peace. And then, when you want to, you can shoot down to earth.

Quality change is the capacity to transform 'negative' situations, or circumstances, into something beneficial for one's self and others. 'Quality transformers' are people who can turn walls of resistance into bridges of understanding and keep crossing them, who can change any obstacle into a stepping stone of success and can reverse the troubling, paralyzing dragon of doubt and insecurity into radiant self-confidence, dissolving the thought 'impossible' from the mind.
Do not be satisfied with the stories that come before you. Unfold your own myth.

Patience with family is love,
Patience with others is respect,
Patience with self is confidence and
Patience with GOD is faith.
There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.

Earth, Teach Me

Earth teach me quiet ~ as the grasses are still with new light.
Earth teach me suffering ~ as old stones suffer with memory.
Earth teach me humility ~ as blossoms are humble with beginning.
Earth teach me caring ~ as mothers nurture their young.
Earth teach me courage ~ as the tree that stands alone.
Earth teach me limitation ~ as the ant that crawls on the ground.
Earth teach me freedom ~ as the eagle that soars in the sky.
Earth teach me acceptance ~ as the leaves that die each fall.
Earth teach me renewal ~ as the seed that rises in the spring.
Earth teach me to forget myself ~ as melted snow forgets its life.
Earth teach me to remember kindness ~ as dry fields weep with rain.

Many posts here, have addressed mental aspects of healing ourselves, the idea of 'changing our minds and keeping the change.'  Here are some words, from a dear friend of mine, about getting these concepts into our bodies, down deep under our skin to heal ourselves:

"I've come to understand my approach to pain. To me there are two basic kinds. One kind is benign, no actual further harm is being done to the body. This kind of pain I can apologize to my body for and step out of.

The other kind of pain is not benign and it is signalling me that damage is being done to the physical body and I need to address its cause and clear it immediately to prevent further damage to the structure. This kind of pain requires I find the source and sometimes it requires the help of a physician to do so. This kind of pain requires mental and physical effort to correct. I research and understand the underlying cause then find a loop hole and work from there. If the cause is degenerative discs then I support the body with the needed nutrients and begin to dream the necessary repairs. I have moved out of the Parkinson, diabetic neuropathy range in the healing process and into the repair of the structure range.

My morning walks are always pain free now and by late afternoon I am reassessing as the pain starts to build. The time spent each day dealing with it is less and less, and we are at the NO MEDICATION stage now. That's a big step in caring for the body. I have a running dialogue with my body, continually thanking it for supporting my incarnation and journey. It deserves all the love and care I can give it." ~ Judith

Within us we have the possibility of observing and intervening (interfering) when we wish to; that is, maintaining the balance between being an observer and acting; playing between forming part of the audience and being the actor. On being actors, sometimes we can lose ourselves in the acting of the other in his or her or their dramas; we get in so deep with what is happening to the other that we lose distance. We get mentally and emotionally involved in the other's stories. When our awareness gets lost in those stories, we stop being the creators of our own life and of our own story. This habit exhausts us; we lose energy; we lose our concentration and control over our thoughts and our emotions. We lose our inner peace and we begin to look for it again.
Remember, it is not the name of your faith that is important but the faith you have.  Let us stand together as one encompassing power for truth within the world.  Blessed be.

We live in an interconnected system.
What we do to one, we do to all.

A Druid in training must be a bard before he is a priest, for music is one of the keys to the laws of the universe.

I am your wings,
I am the strength in your wings,
I am the wind
keeping you in flight.

One day, God was tired of people.
They were always teasing him, asking him things.
Then he said: "I will go and hide for a while."
So he gathered his advisors and said, "Where should I hide?"
Some said: "Hide yourself atop the highest mountain on earth."
Others: "No, hide at the bottom of the sea. They will not ever find you there. "
Others: "No, hide on the other side of the moon, that is the best place. How could they find you there?"
Then God turned to the most intelligent, smiling, replied: "Nestled in the heart of the human!  It is the only place where they will not ever find me! "
